Hi 09:02

We created "Tadaima" spontaneously, with no previous rehearsal of specific melodies or themes, in three hours of recording time. No additional tracks were added later. All of our music comes from a place of deep stillness and connectedness. There are very few recognizable words on the album; this is the language of our souls and hearts.

The word "Tadaima" is what people say in Japan when they come back into their home: "I'm home." It's deeper meaning is "simply now." It is written as 只今. When we are here, now, we are home.

released January 11, 2015

Recorded, mixed and mastered by Henning Schmitz at Studio X.1 in Cologne, Germany. Warm thanks to Sitara Schmitz and Thorsten Vogel for their support during the creation of this CD, and huge gratitude to Anand Shakur for his inspiration and support as we labored and birthed this baby.

Deep Wild Stillness would not exist without the support of many dear friends and family members; thank you all! Special thanks to Jonathan Deayton for creating our beautiful logo, and to Sebastian, Vibha, Bhagwat, and Shakya, and so many others for encouraging us and loving our music. We appreciate you.

Deep Wild Stillness Cologne, Germany

The dance between Tara and Judith’s two voices is sometimes a mysterious space of opposites merging, and sometimes a bit like birds flying with breathtaking precision, turning and twisting at exactly the same moment with no plan. Audience members are enthusiastically awaiting the next chance to be transported to the deep, wild stillness that inspires this soundscape. ... more
